Second trip out with 4X6 gets a ring

Took the M6 and the 4x6 coil out again to a local park. I was detecting around the basketball court and found a class ring. It was in some taller grass. Found the usual clad too.

I really like it. I also have the 6" DD excelerator. I just got them both. Now I need to take out the 6" and give it a good workout.....;o)

Bill, when you take the 6"dd out let me know how it compares to the 4x6 in depth. I have the 4x6 & the 6X10 dd & have been looking for a coil with a little more depth. I know that both these coils are hard to beat but I need depth for the hunted out areas in y ares.

I have compared the depth of both of them in my test garden. The 6" will definately go deeper.

That little coil is absolutely the best little trash picker ever made!

You are not kidding, it is amazing. I used to stay away from real trashy areas like park shelters, etc where there are usually a million pulltabs. With this little coil I just run the M6 in the 7 tones and run it real slow listening for coin sounds between all the trash. The detector sounds like a machine gun going off sometimes, ha-ha, but sure enough you can find coins in the middle of all the other stuff.

I just got the 6X10 dd a few weeks ago and am amazed with how well it does in trashy areas.

Sweet ring and a nice gathering of clad Bill .The M-6 is a fun machine and a real coin magnet ,

Thanks. I am going to stop by the local high school and see if the name on the ring is one of the local students.....Maybe I can find the owner....;o)

Bill that's totally awesome! Great going. It's wonderful to hear that you're going to try to find the owner. :cheekkiss: If all people would realize how important finding and returning a class ring is to the proper owner is. WOW! PRICELESS!!!! Nice amount of clad also. Thanks for sharing and HH, Nancy

Bill, if you do find the owner, they will be so happy. Also you will no longer have your find. When I returned my first class ring, it had a large citrine stone in it and I've been looking for a citrine pendant, etc. to remind me of the ring. Don't get me wrong........ returning the ring was priceless and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I just want to have something that reminds me of that wonderful moment. What can I say...........I'm a woman!!! Any excuse to buy more jewelry. And that's a darn good one too...... Right Larry! :cheekkiss:

Possibly save the clad you find and buy that special something with it for yourself. It's a great little bonus!

Nancy
