General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Listen folks, this is twice now I've been mr. Nice guy and have done work for someone and sent the unit beforwmpayment. Second time I haven't been paid. I won't do this again. So thanks, Much appreciated .
 
I think the saying goes like this. First time , shame on them. Second time , shame on you. Sounds like you are to nice of a guy. It had happen to me also. Now it will never happen. Sorry to hear you have been taken twice. I am sure you won't make that choose again. Best of luck , GS

wow, thats really bad, luck. I usually deal only with dealers unless i am buying because it keeps both parties safer.
 
Sorry Ray to hear this. There are many good people on this forum however it's unfortunate there is 1% that screw it up for everyone else. Hard lesson learned indeed. Not only do I use the search function to check through the feedback forum here on FM, depending on what has been discovered, I sometimes check other detector forums and do a "national internet search" to see if they are in other forums on the net and I will leave it at that.

Rule of thumb: Investigate who you are dealing with and don't let that merchandise leave your hands until payment is in your hand or paypal account.

I have completed transactions with many wonderful people on FM including dealers.

Yes, as Elton mentions, I would be grateful (and I am sure many others would be too) if you could provide at least user names of the parties in question that "burned" you.
 
Sorry to read about this Ray! From reading other forums it sounds like you may have gotten some positive results already?!?
