Second jewelry find.

Well yesterday I was able to get out for about and hour and a half and managed to find this mood ring. Nothing valuable but did it look good laying on the bottom of the lake. I was walking along detecting and looking ahead and saw it laying in the sand so I just bent over and picked it up. Oh how I love this new hobby.

Cool. I found one of them last weekend too. If there's a mood ring there you can get there are a few gold rings somewhere too. Go get 'em.

I've never done a lake...always salt water. I'd like to try it though.

Pat,

Took me several times out to get my first ring and several months to hit gold. Now, just a year later, I am five for five (five times out and found rings each time a total of 12 rings, 5 were gold). And this is on beaches that are hunted every day at least once by usually more than one person.

Keep it up. The time you put in now is learning time. It is funny. You reach a point when all of a sudden you start making better finds. You do not think you are doing anything different but you are.
