Second hunt with Excal 800.........2 Rings and lots of trash

Gulf Huntress

Gulf Hunter and I went to the most trashed beach around here and this is what I dug. .90 cents in clad, a few of the pennies look bad, need a bath. The pink dog leash kinda scared me at first, was on a target and mind you it was getting dark, and I happened to see this thing waving in the water, right at ankle deep, wasn't sure what it was, but put my light on it and it was a dog leash. The big glob of black stuff I believe is a knife, gonna clean it up and will post a pic of it later. One .925 Mexico silver ring; a junker ring, the stone is missing, and the turquoise earring (clip on) I think it is pewter. And I also found a charm, gold in color, no marks, with a dollar sign on it. Oh, as you can see I got one lead weight. I am learning the different tones of this machine and I am looking forward to knowing it inside and out. I hurt from all the digging, not use to it anymore, but that will all change. Heading out for hunt number three tonite. Take care, and HH

I tried running auto on my first trip to the ocean to get use to the detector. I will now be using manual for now on ;)

Still learning this machine and trying to figure out whats what with it. I am getting better at not digging those nails.
