I'll triple what I got last year, of course last year was AWFUL!!
Decided to go back to where I found the 18k and Platinum band two weeks ago.
This is a hard to get to spot, no one metal detects this area of the beach, or so I thought.
About half way into the hunt, a lady comes up to me and says, their is another guy who comes here a lot with a metal detector just like that. (Minelab Excal)
After leaving her I get the mumbles as I keep swinging. Mumble Mumble!!
I say to myself, "Is there any place on this beach that hasn't been touched by a metal detector!!"
When the excal says with it's nice low growling voice, "here's a spot"
Boy that Excal sure knows how to cheer me up!

It's a small ring, less than a gram 10k but the Mumbles are gone!
Then I say, boy it sure would be nice to find at least one more piece of gold, and like clock work the excal growls again and up pops a nice gold......room key!
But I don't care cause I got a ring....back to detecting, and there goes the excal Again!
Dig down and what's in the bottom of the hole, something shiny and gold, probably another room key...
Nope it's a gold ear ring..is it real.....had to wait to get back to the house for that one..smallest writing ever but 4 grams14k it is!

Not a bad second hunt, that's three for two. Three gold for two hunts....I'm ahead of the curve, that doesn't happen often!
