[attachment 208835 100_0472816x612.jpg]Hadn't found anything good since my gold chain find a couple weeks back. Last feew times out ground to hard and dry to do anything, and just to plain HOT. Well last night it rained maybe a 15 to 30 minutes tops, just enough to maybe to try to get in alittle hunt this morning. I met up with my buddy who was working this weekend, hes the weekend park maintance guy.I took him on a short hunt last weekend and let him use my X2 we had found some clad in a tot lot. Anyhow he was doing his rounds of the parks. And I met him at one of the parks where they have been having a large turnout for soccer games. He showed me where to hunt. And then went on his rounds.Well I check out the soccer fields and came up with one lowly penny on top of grass. There was no fresh spills to be found.even with all people that had been there a week ago. I moved on to the next adjoining field to a new tot lot..It had nothing in it yet.Anyhow my buddy the park maintance guy goes we need to find some gold. And we are standing next to a picnic shelter area. Now as a rule I usually don't hunt them.I have never found anything around em. So we chit chat ,and hes saying we need to find something and I say yeah it would be nice. And he starts emptying out the trash containers.I figured what the heck I will give it a try here.My first signal was nice and strong.,I raised coil up and was still getting a signal..I thought a large piece of trash and deep.Usually with the X2 its accurate that way on larger objects....I was going to pass it over but dug anyhow ...low and behold 4 inches down my first gold ring. And she had hit loud too!. I go to my buddy gold ring ! he turns around from what he was doing and goes your kidding me right. And I show it to him and he cleans dirt off and goes 10KT .This is first time I have dug jewelry with him there. Every other time he just misses it or I find it before he gets to park I'm in.I guess I'm going t have to pay more attention to picnic shelters. And o yeah the ear ring came from same park at dug out shelter hmmmm
