Second Gold Ring!

Went out today to a campground near my house. Using the 6 inch digger coil. This was my first real hunt with the digger other than messing around with it in the yard and testing it on different things I had laying around. I was sweeping around a fire pit when I got a nice solid sounding tone. Swept over it several times and it held at an 8 pretty consistently. It occasionally jumped to a 10. Cut a plug and about three inches down I had thin 14K wedding band

Wow that is a good find. I have only dug one gold ring but a few silver ones. A big congratulations.

Thanks guys! Less than a month into this wonderful hobby and I have found two Gold Rings! I'm HOOKED!!! Now if only I could get great finds like this overtime I go out!

Congrats...........you have done real well for your first month. Always exciting to find gold. In the past I found gold much more often than I do now. However, I worked harder & used less discrimination. Probably can attribute a lot of it to just getting lazy as I've gotten older plus not water hunting as much. Hope your success continues.
