I had a couple of hours to spare today so I went to a old church site not far from home here in Aussie. I had detected this site a few years back and never found much in the way of coins, so I set the AT pro on custom with 40 -45 notched out, iron discrim on 35, sensitivity 1 bar down from max, Std. mode. First find was a 9ct. gold locket, second was a copper ring, third 2 x brass washers(same hole), fourth a 1950 penny, fifth a 1916 shilling, sixth a 1954 threepence and lastly a halfpenny(date worn). I couldn't believe it, how I missed these previously I'll never know. Included in the photo is a 1914 halfpenny which was my first coin I found with the AT Pro. The machine ran beautifully, a bit of chatter here and there which I put down to junk items, so I am very pleased with it so far. Next outing will be the beach to see how it performs on wet sand etc.
Cheers,
