Second day out with the tracker IV and still amazes me

Trackerman

:bounty:Well hit the same local park and second day out hit about 2.75 in clad and a silver ring. This has become my favorite detector so far. Its simple and efective. Loves rings coins and jewlry. What more can you ask for in a detector.:bounty:

Stop, you're makin' me jealous! ;) The Tracker IV is a sleeper for sure, and it's no doubt helped by a pair of capable hands doin' the swingin'.

With 14 excellent detectors here, can anyone explain why I think I need to add a T4?? I only got to try one once and I was impressed, maybe I'll see one in a yard sale someday.

Now here's one for you to try, Trackerman. Everyone always says that meter pegs on every signal. In my brief run with it, I found a very weak signal would wiggle the meter and the audio would not respond. So it seems the meter is more sensitive than the audio and might lead to some deeper finds with it. I wouldn't know how well disc might work in such a situation, if at all.

Watch the meter as you swing and see if something deeper doesn't pop up on your next time out with it.

Ive tried a few myself from minelabs to whites to garrets . But this thing pretty much kicks the higher end detectors buts for much less money. Its a beep and digger but a very good one. so far in the 2 days ive noticed ive hit everything from keys to whisltes to pens to hot wheels to small charms to rings and all sorts of change from quarters to dimes to nickels and pennys to even a dollar coin wich i found today. The Tracker IV is a very simple to use efective well engineered and desgined detector. In my opinion the best for the money. I really dont use the meter. I hunt by sound unless im using a id machine. This machine is showing me that bounty hunter is not to be looked down apon but to be taken seriously in the metal detecting world. Happy hunting to all.:bounty::please:

just bought one of these for $55 at the pawn shop to pair up with my quicksilver, went this morning with one of my sons with 4"coil on the quicksilver and 8" or 10" whichever on the tracker 4, I was using the T4 and was quickly able to learn to pinpoint items, the beep system seems to be different on both machines unless there is a short or something in the T4 regardless i was able to find a few things in all 3 modes, but stil have to get familiar with manual discrimination. I have been going out every morning at 5 am hitting local parks for the past 2 weeks cashed in some coins today was about $22.00 (battery money) Anyhow I will have to agree the tracker IV is pretty awesome especially when you get one for the price i did. :)

Cool you got a good deal on the tracker . Its defanatly a clad hog. I also like the fact that its light after swinging around a 4 pound Whites machine for a while. Heck I dont even miss the id on the Whites with this tracker Iv.
