Second Classic SL Hunt W/ Mr. Bill's Mods

Decided to hunt a couple of hours this afternoon. Weather was great, so had to get out digging. Went to the school five minutes from my house. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the detector did again at this "worked out" location. Getting two silver coins at this site is no easy task. Here is my take for the couple of hours I hunted.

Wow your pretty good at finding. Those silver coins are in really nice shape. Thats the neat thing about buried silver coins, most have little wear or circulation allowing them to retain detail . This makes them more valuable to collectors . The emblem looks like it came of some 50s era car. Nice work.

Great finds foreverRich!!! How deep was the silver and what type of coil were you using?

The silver was between 7 and 8 inches deep. I was using the stock Blue Max 950 coil. It has excellent recovery and sensitivity. I hunt the old areas in max discrimination and don't seem to loose any depth. It does a great job of eliminating the trash, while still being able to detect the older, deep coins.
