Seated With New Xterra 70

Found these four seated half dimes 1839, 1851, 1857, 1871 and no dated Canadian 5cent piece all in one hole last time out with my X70. After 15 years or more of detecting these were my first seated coins. Needless to say I was happy. Also found a 1906 Indian and 4 wheaties that outing. I just purchased the 70 and I'm very happy with it so far. Seems to lockon to good targets very well. The seated coins were around 6in. deep. The Indian was around 5-6 in. deep and on edge with a good signal. Going back sunday to try this site out again. Love Them Xterra"s. HHJoe

Excellent finds! :clapping: Which coil were you using? You must have really done your research and come up with such a hunting site! It is always great to see old coins. And even better when someone finds them with an X-Terra!!! Congratulations! HH Randy

Had a X70 a few months back and regretted selling it. Very happy to have one back and it will be sometime before I part with this one. I have owned alot of different detectors over the past years. seems the Xterra's have the best features and performance of any I've owned for my style and type of hunting. Looking forward to adding a 6in. coil for the heavy trashy areas also. Lots to learn yet on the 70 but it's already a keeper for me. Best Wishes to All! Joe

Nice finds Joe.........Were the coins on a chain, or bracelet type object..... You are right about keeping the xterra 70
Really good detectors, and in the hands of a true hunter like you they are awsome

I never saw a Seated that was holed and never saw a holed coin with anything attached to it. Unusual to find all those in the same hole, maybe it was from a robbery or someone lost a purse full of them. Nevertheless, they are a great find and I don't blame you for going back. Good luck, Ron
