Seated Liberty Dollar Thickness

I think the Red Book says all Dollars minted for use in the US are 2mm
Never heard that thickness varied from one type to another, though wear from circulation can cause it (and there are counterfeits around.)
 
Back in the day some crooked plating shops would drop them into slotted racks and plate with them for awhile and just rinse,dry and back into circulation slightly lighter. sic sic sic-John
