Boy, I hope they wait a while to plow the field I am hunting...This AM I found another seated coin, an 1842 half dime! Thats my 4th seated in 2 weeks! My best 2 weeks ever! I just realized the merc I found is 1942 exactly 100 yrs later! Love the explorer! HH, Woody

How far from the nearest house, in the plowed field were the coins?

Hi Gary, The houses in the neighborhood are from 1800 to 1999. Its a field thats been there forever pretty much. The coins I have found are from workers in the field. I only dug 20 or 30 targets this AM, and 5 or 6 I knew were gonna be iron. It is a pretty clean field, hardly any trash. I did dig a 1964 Mem cent that fooled me, I thought it was gonna be an oldie :') The half dime was holed, the string must have broken on the owner...HH, Woody
