Thanks to Historical Aerials, I found a new spot in the woods where a farm once was many years ago.
Its looks like its never been hunted
The last picture on bottom left ~Its either a large cent or some other coin.

Thanks for watching.

Hey George, Great finds. A gold ring in the woods is an awesome find. Is the the thing that looks like a large penny magnetic? If so then its iron. Looks like rain the next day or two. HH, Dave

I tried the magnetic and it doesn't stick, I can see a smidge of letters on it.It would be nice to have a positive id on this coin.I dont think its a large cent Though.

George, If it is a HALF CENT it will be a Little SMALLER than a LARGE CENT, but ALOT Bigger than a regular modern penny!! Hope this helps, CONGRATS, Les Robinson

Wow, your legs must be tired from all the happy dancing!! :goodnight:

Awesome finds, great day. Congrats. I found a Connecticut Copper once, it looked a lot like that when it came out of the ground. It's currently getting a bath in some olive oil, desperately trying to get some detail back. Artie
