While going over the same ol' battle field for the jillionth time I came upon these that no one had found. I hope the picture shows up it is one that I scanned. Tommorow I will try and get some better pictures of some of 'em with a camera. They are all seated except for 2 and they are "bust's?" Here is the total 5 quarters 1854 thru 1857. 2 half dimes 1856 and 1857. 23 dimes of which 26 are seated and the 2 busts,I think that is what they are called. The dates go from 1836(bust) to 1860 (seated). Guys/Gals keep looking in them same old places and look in places that you dont think there is any need to look in 'cause that is where I found these. The yankees had been routed and I have found at least one escape route. How they got there I have no idea but they were all found in a place no bigger than a kitchen table. I about had a heart attack. This scan does not do 'em justice but I gotta tell somebody..d2

Guys, I have been over the small place I found those coins for a total of 8 or more hours. I even turned my discriminater off and dug every little peep. Only thing I was able to find was a fired round pistol ball. I hope it rains 'cause my detector works a little better in wet ground. Thanks for all the comments...d2

Can't wait to see them d2. I would call that a career find! Hope to find out something from the Manufacturer soon. Talk to you later, David
