These finds were made in the yards of a few different 1800's homes and in the woods, close to where a old Railroad Depot once stood.

A funny story ... While hunting the front yard of one of the 1800's house's - I got a solid FE (12) - CO (47) hit that was only three or four inches down.
I was pretty sure it was a clad Quarter before I dug it ... and it was.
A few swings later I got another solid Quarter hit - again at only three to four inches down - WOW ... it's silver quarter - but it's not a Washington ???
The coin was dirty and I didn't have my glasses on - during the very fast walk back to my truck - I was thinking ... maybe I'll get lucky and it will be a Standing Liberty Quarter !
When I put my glasses on ... I almost fell over .... a 1877 S - Seated Liberty Quarter in really nice condition !

The 1904 Barber Dime is in excellent condition - looks like it was lost right after it was minted.
Didn't get a chance to clean the two 1936 Buffalo's yet.
The Ring is stamped - "10k G.P. - Sterling Silver".
The "Veteran's Of Foreign Wars" Medal - is WW 2 era or earlier - it was approx. 6" down in one of the old yards.
The Medal Ribbon Clip - Is stamped - ( " Pat. March 14, 1877 ) it must have had a colored cloth ribbon on it when it was new - it was used to wear the V.F.W. medal.
The Token is stamped - "Mike's Lunch - Good For 5 Cents In Trade" - in pretty rough condition.
The old Bank - Safety Deposit box key is stamped - # 241.

Good Hunting To All !
