New member
I POSTED THIS QUESTION ON THE TREASURE DEPOT SITE.ONLY GOT 1 REPLY. i WAS CLEANING THE SEASEARCH COIL AND I TOOK THE COVER OFF AND I NOTICED A TRIANGULAR LIKE BUBBLE OR HUMP THE SIZE OF A SILVER DOLLAR ON THE BOTTOM CORNER. WAS WONDERING IF THAT IS NORMAL OR NOT?

Thanks
Steve h ny

the bottom should be level. If the coil works right i would not worry about it.I do not like using coil covers so to protect your coil i brushed on Locktite Marine Epoxy. It works great and can be bought at Home Depot. Good Luck! Walter

I never heard of a coil with a hernia before. Just kidding, but I don't know what you've got there, but I guess if it still works you're probably ok.

Pretty wild, when the lady from the "Bureau of Land Managment" tells you it's illigal to hunt with a metal detector in Nevada, and if you get caught they can take away your detector, your car, throw you in jail, fine you 3 thousand bucks and maybe keep you in jail longer sometimes. Scared me pretty bad. Took all the fun out of the old wild west, darn it.!!!!

You know what's the scariest thing about all this is, if a person doesn't know how serious it is, you might think, Oh it's ok to detect here, looks ok., next thing you know...Dooms day. Well, I guess it's up to us to find out or take our chances.
