Searching for military relics in Europe

wssrelics

New member
Hi, I am new to this endeavor and I want to start looking for military items such as helmets, badges, buckles, insignia, etc. The soil mainly consists of sand. After reading countless pages and reviews I have narrowed my selection to the following: Tesoro Cibola and Cortez, Kellyco Dual Frequency Treasure-Finder 900 Automatic Deep Seeking Detector, Nautilus DMC IIBa. Any input would be greatly appreciated from you guys! Thanks!

I can only attest to the "magic" of the Cibola. It is a great little machine. Maybe David Keith will chime in and help you. He is the best in helping folks get what they need for their soil types, relics looked for, etc...d2

Personally, I would suggest a Cibola for non-ferrous relics (brass, lead) but for all WW II relics, including those made of iron, you'll need All Metal ability. For that I'd recommend the Tesoro Tejon or Minelab Sovereign GT or Advantage.
Good hunting,
David@Dixie
