First off not sure if this is the right place to post this but i didn't see any specific for this subject...I live in ontario canada and want to know if anyone know's of places to go for gold hunting,or even in the U.S close to me...and how does it work for going over the border? anything special o should know if i do...and one more i found a few websites for open to public gold mines anyone try these places? is it worth spending the money to go and stay, some are pretty expensive,i am sure just the fun and thrill is worth it but is there a good chance on finding gold, I guess if yo know what your doing...lol..i am new but something like this i won't do until next yr give myself time to gain experience...but i am the kind that plans ahead to work out details get all the info i can...any stories? or info is very appreciated...thanks

Hi MyWay, If i were you i would look into the GPAA ( GOLD PROSPECTORS OF AMERICA ) I think we even have some claims in CANADA. You can join for $67.50 and get everything you need, even a claim to go on for free. Google it and get the info. Good Luck Flintstone

You have to head way North and it's underground. Head East for placer gold.
Go South for both. You live in the wrong part of the North America to really make it worth going.
As mentioned in the previous post check out GPAA ( GOLD PROSPECTORS OF AMERICA )
and google Canadian Gold Prospecting Forum.

I have a friend Jerry in Buffalo who has been gold hunting, finds some color in NY State, he has a wealth of knowledge.
He pops into Findmall now and then. I'll have to remember his User ID. Send me a PM if you want his email address.
