Search Coils

Winter months are here, thinking about last years adventures. Good year, But it could be better?
Look to up grade my ACE 250 with A new search coil. The new double D coil from Garrett has my eye.
Question, Will the hock up be the same? And will the pin pointing be effected?

I'm positive that the connection is the same. But I can't tell you how it will perform in pin-point, as I have not tried it yet.

The DD are very easy to pinpoint with center it and the right off the tip is your target. I had the 10''x14'' on a 250 and thought it would be hard to pin point but it's easy.

The connector is the same, and if you pinpoint off the center, that is the same also.

It will hook right up, pin pointing will be effected until you get used to it, It is a lot more sensitive, It does a excellent job separating targets, will go a little deeper and can cover more ground, Not good for trashier places.

you can swing fast, med or slow in open area, most of the time I swing slow just because the area I've been hunting has not been free of trash. This has been My experience so for on a 350.
