Sea Hunter

I have it and love it. If it is there it will tell you.
I hip mount the unit and use a stainless steel hose clamp to take the wobble out of the shaft. I cover the nylon loop with a clear piece of tubing so that the loop does not catch on anything. Just a few things. Built like a tank.

Well the only problem I have had is that I wore out the bottom of my coil in a month, but that was detecting every other day, not sure if it was designed for that much wear.

Easily remedied, coat the thing in marine epoxy, works a treat and now I can actually see it in murky waters, its bright white!

But apart from that, a fantastic machine and yes, built like a tank and if the coil breaks or the headphones, no problem, you can fit new ones yourself, no sending it back to Garrett.
