That is a nice find all the watches I find are shot .:twodetecting::cheers:

Fake or not, still a nice find Mick.............

Thanks Larry and Tim, One thing Sea Hunters Elemination knob 0 to 9 is Like having Disk on a VLF unit??? mickfin

Thank you all 4R the inspiration on the Sea Hunter!!!!!!
I use it with Land Headphones so i have a volume, If Hunting a Lake i use 6 Descret and at the Ocean 0 Standerd, Will Elemenation hurt Depth?????
6 Descret still finds the good stuff, in advance Thanks for all ideas, , mickfin,

Acording to the graph in the owners manule no.all the way up 2 8 is too much.I did some air testing with the 10 x 14 coil before taking it out.hunted in standard mode and 2 disc to make it run smooth with no falsing.Came home did same air test and no real lost to depth but sure nice and smooth! Now a question to you. When i use mine in discrete mode my volume is muted or cut in half.not very loud .Is yours like that?
Next tip your lower rod ill slide in a piece of schedule 40 3/4 pvc pipe .I had a old arm rest from a Whites hip mount kit and that fit the top.I made my own ridgid adjustable straight shaft in about 10 minutes and it works great.!Happy hunting let me know on the thesh hold thing too .Wayne

Wayne, I use the Land HPs 4R the Volume so i cant help, i would think you use the Water HPs ?? On the Land HPs i dont hear a differnents, So in what you sead is that a YES or NO Dose Descret hurt Depth??? Thanks Wayne Mick over N out,

Yes it hits but very quiet muted.Loving the 10x14 coil! turned disc to 1.5 for the salt and runs smooth as silk.I guess i need to do that with the 8 inch to.Air tests not much loss at all.Good luck MIc.I post pic of my straight shaft made from pvc and a top handle from a whites.making a longer one tonight.good luck good hunting,Wayne

I have a question. I have read there is NO discrimination with a PI unit. I have wanted one but if this is true a VLF machine is better for me.

exactly right sea hunter rocks...2 hours 7 dollars on water and a ring...just one pull taps. unbelivable ...

Wildeagle77 , So what are your Settings for knocking out Pull Tabs??? Descret Or Standerd and what Elemination Thank You, Mickfin,

i did not use any disc.usually i do not dig out item that are not round like coins or pull tabs or bottle cups. the sea sand was just clean. as i said i cant believe it.

take care

Same thing here but look at the cuts at low tide a foot lower in spots alternating about every 15 feet.
digging old stuff there right now. It will move soon just have to keep going till it does then a 4 ring day 4 you!Good luck buddy.
GARRETT GIRLS !

Wild eagle pultabs drop out at around disc 7 while small gold hits good.you will lose your nickles and foil.Never set this high in standars mode.I am using the 10x14 in salt water ans have to set disc at almost 2 to knock out salt and run smooth.I dig it all very few targets now so not using discrete u do lose depth but if you hunt fast or have hard bottom should be no problem 4 you.Do some air tests and practice at home with setting.
good luck,Wayne

Those are some good Cuts, I would Dig it all, Mickfin
