Sea Hunter? What can I expect

Android

New member
I am on the verge of ordering the Sea Hunter. I was wondering if some of you Garrett experts can answer a couple of questions for me. Does the trash elimination discriminate out iron? The Garrett spec sheet only mentions eliminating foil and pull tabs. Does this machine have variable tones depending on the object sensed? I kind of wonder what makes the infinium worth $500 more. What does it have over the Sea Hunter? I am going to be using this mostly in fresh water at the public beaches. I would buy the Excalibur if I had the money because I know the machine well. I would like to know what to expect with the Sea Hunter.

Thanks in Advance

The Sea Hunter will not eliminate iron. The Sea Hunter is a PI and they all like iron. The Infinium, (also a PI) which costs a little more is a better machine, as it has an iron check, will signal high-low signals for gold, low-high signals on silver and copper. Now having said that, don't use the Sea Hunter on real trashy beaches. Use it on well hunted out beaches and in the deeper water where there tends to be less trash. With the Sea Hunter and Infinium, you tend to dig a little more trash then a single frequency machine, but you also get the deep keepers that the single frequency machines missed. I had the Sea hunter and found a lot of coins with it.
