sea hunter mkII 8" coil cover?

How come Garrett does not make a coil cover for
the MKII 8 inch coil.

I spray coils with 100% polyeurathane bedliner material tthat i spray truck bedliners with at my store. it prevents anything from getting into the coil makes it waterproof in saltwater and freshwater and wont crack like Line-x and herculiner you can buy at an auto parts store. if your interested i can quote it for you all i need is a couple measurements and a picture. it works great and will absolutely protect your coil without effecting its perfomance in the field
 
I am not sure but I would think that being primarily a diving machine, it may cause issues having a cover on the coil.
