Sea Hunter Mark II....advice

mudpuppy

New member
Hey, you Garrett swingers! A little help here, thinking about getting the Sea Hunter Mark II...anything I need to know from some users? I'll be snorkling, hookahing, wading, fresh and salt...
I've heard battery life on the PI machines is short, whatcha think? Any advice appreciated!

Sea Hunter is a great machine for hunting in sea water. Will detect real deep and will pick up any size objects. It is definitely suited best for the ocean. Fresh water lakes have a considerable amount of iron objects that would rust away in salt water, but just rust and sit there in fresh water. It has forms of discrimination but I would not recommend using any. It will not discriminate iron at all, so you are better off digging all good sounds.

It loves bobby pins. Be prepared to dig deep, deep holes.....Coach
