Sea Hunter Mark II - A good machine?

EasySwing

I believe the gold is in the water!

Been thinking about this machine as a good water machine. I have been reading as much as I can get my hands on concerning this machine. I do not think the AT Pro will be a good salt water machine, a good machine, but not for salt water. Is not a pi machine, a big drawback as far as water is concerned.

1.) My question is, Is Garrett going to come out with a new or upgraded salt water machine in the near future? I am afraid to purchase this model only to have them come out with a "newer" model for salt water use. From the comments here on this site many of you are looking forward to good salt water machine also.
Hear any rumors as to a newer model?

2.) Do any of you use this machine and if so are you pleased with it's performance?
Pros and cons requested. Thanks.

HH Marty

Like any PI machine the SH11 will go very deep and find it's share of the loot.
I for one don't think Garrett will come out with any real new technology as far
as PI machines are concerned as they already have the Infinium on line and
its not that old of a machine. Both of these machines can and will hold there
own with any of the others, you just have to learn them and be willing to dig
when they tell you to.
