Sea hunter Mark 2 double signal

Android

New member
Had a few hours in the freshwater with the sea hunter today. Some signals I noticed would give me 2 beeps. I wondered if this is from a real small object. Does each side of the loop signal as you pass a tiny object. I also wonder if the signals that gradually come on then gradually off are usually not coins or rings. Do you seasoned sea hunter people get a good idea of what your digging before you dig it?

Yeah, small targets close to the surface will produce a tone as they pass under the outer rim of the coil, this is very noticable with Mono coils.

right with you there OP...I just got my new Mark2 last week, haveing a little trouble pinpointing with it. So I took my ace250 along with me yesterday. When I found a target with the SH, I would mark it with a golf tee where I thought it was. Then go over it with my 250 to see how close I came. I can get right on with the 250 useing the tip of the coil(I very seldom use the pinpointer feature). So that right there has help me a bunch. So if you have another MD OP, you may try doing what I did.

One thing you will find, is they love iron. You can't dis iron out either. Found a bunch of rusty nails yesterday. Must have been where a old dock was.
