Sea Hunter Mark 11

It is absolutely fantastiic. I have used it fir last 3 days and found tons of things. I do not use any discrimination, do not even bother with it, i rather dig at the expense of several bottke tops. I just received the large coil but have not tried it yet. This detector is fantastic, very sensitive. I hip mount it because is rather heavy, but be confident that this machine works. I have to add that i exclusively hunt at salty minerlized beaches, so none of my others detectors work well, but the sh shines. Absolutely love it. I found 15 rings in these 3 days. None of them very good, but still finding rings is always special

Started using mine a lot more this year. I agree on keeping the discrimination low. Found 2 rings, a ton of coins, and of course a lot of junk this year. Only wish the headphones had a volume control. Had to add neoprene inserts in the ear cups.

Yes, I agree with the volume in the headphones. Forgot to mention. Since I hear very little from my right ear, I usually place the part of the headphones with the cable on my right ear, so it is loud.d, but manageable, but the other day I put it on my left ear which is quite good, and blew my head apart.
I have not checked if they sound differently one side to the other or why is such a big difference, but they are clearly way too loud.
Stock headphones are good for underwater, but in warm-hot climate, you cannot stand them on the ears, they make you so hot, your ears end up violet, really uncomfortable.
Other than that, for a rustic, turn on and go detector, works amazingly great.
I hope to try my new big coil and see if I notice any difference in comparison with the 8´ stock coil, but it will be hard to beat though.

Sharing only the goodies of past weekend in 3 different beaches. Needless to say, I dug out several pounds of old iron, fishing weights, bottle tops and so on.

Good hunting
Ed.
