Unexploded ordinance in the water there. Please be careful.

Buckroe is a great beach. If you do find a military ordinance where ever you hunt leave it alone and call the experts to deal with it. We have alot of civil war cannon balls where i live and they are pretty much harmless to dig up until you decide to drill and disarm it yourself. Most of the ordinance that were found at Buckroe Beach were practice rounds but you could not tell the difference between a real one and a fake one so they stop metal detecting there. Last year you could metal detect if you watch a video on what to do if you do find one.The military search the beach hard for any remaining ordinance and i feel confident that they are not there so i am not really concerned on finding one but if i do find one there or anywhere else i know what to do Leave it alone and call someone that knows what to do with it.
