SE Users now E-Trac users

I was thinking about switching to E-Trac, I have the SE. I would like to know what are some of the pros and cons that you have experienced switching to E-Trac from SE.

I got an E-Trac and sold my SE. I don't think I am in a position to give you and unbiased set of reasons. However, this has been discussed in numerous ways in numerous posts on this forum and on the Explorer forum. Might want to do a search and find some of the previous posts. I remember where someone listed a bunch of things like, Faster Processor, one button push to go from discriminate screen to quick mask, and on and on. Andy in his book also does a wonderful job of pointing out the technical differences. Not only between the E-Trac and the SE but the changes in the whole Explorer series from the first ones to the SE. I think he is privy to a lot of technical stuff that Minelab doesn't share with everyone. He was able to explain some of that mystery in a way that didn't violate any proprietary info but still illustrated the real electronic differences. Hope that is a starting point! Jim
