Does anyone have any setting suggestions. And just a thing to keep in mind I mainly field hunt homes, schools and churches that have been gone 40+ years. A park from time to time also. It has been awhile since I had an explorer, and I have never had the Se Pro so any setting suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Weston

Let's hope so fellas.
Goals for the year are as follows I didn't go crazy:

5 large cents
Atleast one seated coin
25 silvers
25 Indian heads
5 buffalo or before nickels
5 pieces of jewelry.
And for the big one a 3 cent piece nickel or silver.

Wish me luck!

Very doable list.
The 3center prob the hardest to get.
But if you're not out hunting you'll never get it.
Good luck and HH

interested in this too because I am thinking of getting one

I got one about the middle of July last year. Had a mildly tough learning curve. First couple of
weeks....nothing to brag about. Then one day found a Merc and things just clicked after the
first silver. Wondered if I'd every find two silver coins in one day....then I did. Then wondered
if I'd ever get three in one day...then I did. Still waiting on finding four in a day. :)

Anyway take your time and don't get frustrated, you will catch on soon enough.

Waiting on the weather to clear here in Ohio 3 inches of snow on the ground, but tomorrow I think I'm going to tough out the 23 degree weather and give it a whirl. I got 4 or 5 field sites to check out close to home. Wish me luck fellas!:detecting:
