SE Pro vs SE ?

canes12

New member
I feel an idiot asking the following BUT:
How does one tell the difference between an EX SE Pro versus
a EX SE ?
I only ask this question because I'm a recent owner of an SE Pro
(I think). My machine has "Explorer SE" printed on the handle.
Wouldn't an SE Pro have "Explorer SE Pro" printed on it ????
And, are there any technical differences ?
Thanks for your help.

It has professional written on the side of the housing. Also, the coil is different. I think the SE used a different coil. My SE Pro has the same has the E-Trac

The original SE used a sliimline coil that most didnt like and it was 10". The machines are the same...... add the Pro coil and you are good.

Yep -- the original SE had the slimline coil, as dewcon said -- and the SE Pro uses the "Pro" coil (same coil as the E-Trac) and has "Professional" written on the side of the control box (as Pastor bob said).

Those are the only two differences. If you have an original SE, and put the 11" Pro coil on it, you essentially have an SE "Pro" (even though the word "Professional" would not be on the side of the housing).
