SE Pro Noise Cancelling problem ?

New member
Firstly, my SE Pro is only 1 yr old. My problem (maybe) is when
I try to noise cancel I have to press the button several times before
it works. Also, when it does work there is nothing on the display,
only the "musical audio" before it give me a final beep that it is done.
Appreciate your help.

Not sure about the button push issue, but there is indeed nothing on the screen when it is cancelling that would let you know that it is in the process of a "noise cancel." Just the sounds...and then the final tone when it finishes.

Steve

Sounds like your noise cancel button is not making initial contact...otherwise when it does seems to work correctly...

Button, switches etc. do go from time to time on any unit...don't try any spray on it lest you have real problems....

The explorer won't have the same noise cancelling screen as the etrac. It gives the tone repeatly before it balances hope this helps

Sounds like a button issue to me. Just one lite press is all that's needed. It's still under warranty for 2 more years so at least your covered if it fails completely. Good luck, Joe

Just a mention - might be obvious but sometimes solutions are.
When I press the noise cancel button there is a delay (couple /few seconds) before the repeat tones start. Maybe you're not waiting long enough for the tones to start when you press the button.
Is this just with my machine or are all SEs like this? Mine has had the delay since day one and the noise cancel works fine.
Bruce

No noticeable delay with mine.
