SE pro in the salt wet sand ?

New member
does the se pro have any problems in the wet salt sand and shore line

Absolutely No problems at all. The minelab FBS machines are stable as they come. A buddy of mine owns several Minelab machines including an Excalibur but his go to machine for the beach is the SE Pro.

Just don't get the control box wet, also as a caution getting salt water in the shafts Will cause corrosion and they will seize together if not promptly cleaned.

You can run it there. Be VERY CAREFUL you DON'T GET the CONTROL HOUSING WET.

You will be forced to run at a lower sensitivity. The wet sand will cause a lot of falsing if you try running the way you normally would in a yard.
