SE PRO finds a ring

Went out with my buddy hunting this afternoon to a place that has been hunted to death. I managed to find a cameo ring There was a hint of gold but I believe it might be plated. I soaked it in salt and vinegar and it removed a lot of the corrosion on it but the ring has a crust on it that seems to be covering gold beneath. It looks a lot like a crust that builds up on gold in salt water. How can I clean the rest of this crud off? Thanks for reading my post. The cameo is beautiful.

Nice find. Would love to see a pic after you get it cleaned.:beers:

Electrolisis is your easiest and best bet. Very quick results. Simple to make if you dont already have one.
