I've noticed alot of issues list on the Safari forum about all the problems(performance, operation, etc.) people are having w/ their Safari's BUT, none listed

about the explorer SE. Is it that the SE is much easier to operate, or is it that maybe Safari is their first minelab ?? What gives ?? I have a chance to

buy a Safari at a good price but I'm holding out for a SE.

You're right about those having problems, it is thier first FBS detector. The Safari is also my first FBS, but I did a lot of reading and research before I bought mine. I've used a bunch of different machines over the last 30 yrs. and the Safari is the deepest by far. If you'll notice it is only a very few people having problems and they are making a lot of posts in the Safari forum.

I remember me just not to long ago wondering if my MD wasn't working properly. As usual it's the operator not the machine.
