SE nabs a couple more V-Nickels

The SE sniffs out a couple more V-Nickels and an Indian. Went with the SunRay X-5 since the area is littered with metal all over. The 2 nickels were found with the 5", the Indian with the 8".

I'm having a hard time with it. Today is the best day with it. I find myself getting frustrated and impatient with that coil. I just need to get in a groove with it. As for today, the coil was the perfect coil for the situation. I first detected the area with the 8" and went over it again with the 5... and those Vs were missed the first time.

Understandable as you have to realize that you aren't going cover the same amount of ground as you will with the larger coils. However, by sweeping slow this coil will locate those nice finds amongst the trash. It might help if you mentally section off an area and slowly/methodically cover with this coil. When your done, switch angles and cover the area again. I think you will be surprised and build your confidence in this coil. HH
