"Scubatecting" with the ATX

Hi guys. Unsure if mentioned in my last post but over the last month or so I completed the open water dive course :) today with another detector crazy friend visited a local marine park for some "scubatecting"

After an initial warm up dive (just mucking around to 7m / 8m went back to the beach, grabbed the atx with the 8 inch mono and hit the water. Not too many targets (have been there a lot) however the best finds of the day:

1x 9ct Gold
1x very old silver ring and stone
1x titanium ring.

Extreme detecting with the ATX :)

Thats awesome! I have used my ATX with a hooka system from my dredge...just got a lot of lead. Went back to using the nozzle, Lol.
Might get my scuba cert also and go at it like that...

I have been thinking about getting certified (scuba ) for many years. I just have to see if it warrants it's use with metal detecting. The thought of cutting a hole in the ice and diving in comes to mind.....but I don't think so.:stars:
