Scuba diving with Tesoro Stingray II in salt water...

Has anyone tried using the Tesoro Stingray II (VLF) under water in the great briny ocean? I have one I've used for beach hunting and the wet salty sand always gives it a fit and I was wondering if it makes any difference when the entire unit is submerged. Just wanted to check the experiences of forum members to see if it is worth a try.

Thanks

Hmmmmmm...... was it something I said?

OK, I will amend the question to hunting anywhere in, on, under, around, or near salt water or wet salty sand?

Thanks
John

Sorry no one has answered your post controlfreq. I don't own the unit, but from what I've read it is best used in fresh water. Hope you get the correct answer mate. Live your dreams! HH regards Nugget.:detecting:
