Am I the only one that has a heck of a time seeing the screen. I have to circle around and hold it at weird angles to try and see it ... it got really frustrating today in the sun trying to see it

Same for all of us. Try putting on the shiny plastic rain jacket and the try to see the screen. I try to hunt with the sun to my back if at all possible.

It takes some getting used too, but if I do look at the screen, I generally glance at the depth most of the time and sometimes the Co number. You're right though, its been a complaint ever since the E-Trac came out. Kind of like when you get a different car, there's going to be some little inconvenience (bright indicator shining in your eyes at night) you learn to put of with, just as long as the machine works the way it should.

Thank goodness for individual tone Id.

You can try using one of those cell phone/i-pad protective non-glare film screens found at your local big box electronics store and just cut it to size. They're expensive, they help some but don't cure the glare problem completely (at least the one i've got) when the screen is in direct sun light.

Its especially frustrating when using open screen TTF which requires a lot of screen monitoring.

Like NebTrac said, the glare issue has been around since day one.

I would prefer that the screen be angled upwards for easier viewing...but of course the glare would only become worse. Gotta love those cloudy day hunts.

well it's a lot better now ... I had the contrast turn pretty much all the way up, turned it pretty much all the way down and.it's a lot better. Still wished it was better but it's bearable now ... I know my 705 was really no problem seeing it. thanks for the replies
