Screen wide open

I keep hearing screen wide open on the ctx 3030 can someone tell me what they are talking about.

I always have considered pattern 2 in whatever mode you're in as wide open.

Wide open for me and 1000hz 11 to 15 for nickels and 1000hz 30 to 50 for copper silver all the other bins at 75hz just a lot easier on the brain I call it my fairground mode . sube

Ok you guys are saying wide open. COMPLETELY open?? Not even 35 FE line disc to prevent wrap around?

OK re-read all the posts. I'm gonna give it a try completely open. I have been running 35 fe line and 50 co line disced out. This could be interesting!
