Just got new screen protectors today. My question is how to properly clean and apply the new protectors without damaging the screen that they are supposed to protect?

I apply the new protector immediately after removing the factory shipping cover, no need to clean. If you think there is dirt on your screen I would use a glass cleaning kit, water and soft cloth. The covers come with a cloth to smooth out after installing.
