It's too late for me, because I already applied mine, but if I had cut the English lanquage section off of the original screen protector and applied the two ands seperate pieces, I would have 15 backup screen protectors where I could have cut off the foreign lanquages and used them.
I did not remove the original screen protector with English on the bottom, I just cut the foreign text off the bottom of the screen protectors provided and applied over the original film. I am not talking about the soft protecting film covering the screen when removed from shipping box, that was removed when assembling the Nox..
So if I understand you correctly, you applied a second screen protector over the English version, minus the foreign language section. Is that correct? Did you do this immediately before the original screen became scratched?

Yes, you are correct, I did that immediately before using or scratching the English version protector. I made sure the screen was clean and since I had just removed the shipping protective film it was. The trimmed, second screen protector went right on with no distortion or bubbles. I have now used it in the ocean several times and gotten it real wet with no issues. Just follow the instructions for the new screens installation as they have two labeled protective films on them with one side being the applied side and the other side is facing you.
