More problems.
My SE Pro made a long tone the other day and put a message on the screen then switched off, all I could see of the message was the last word that I thought was 'Horizontal'.
Anyone any ideas.
I took out the battery and put it back in and it worked fine.

That is strange  and no idea but contact minelab thay may know

Mine has reset the noise or select a best channel all by itself. Touch pad might have been stuck.

Yours might have had a computer memory thing going on until you reset it by pulling the battery, whcih is what I would have done.

If it happens again then quickly look at the message on screen

I have checked with Minelab but they didn't know about that message.
I have been testing the machine at home and I have come to the conclusion that the main battery pack has a fault in it that is causing a problem. After charging it over night and putting it in the SE sometimes it comes up on screen that the battery is empty, put it back in and it shows it full.
After putting in 8* AA's and testing it again there seems to be no more problems but we shall see when I am next down the beach.
