Screen glare in sunlight

Anyone have a good way to prevent screen glare in direct sun? I find it very difficult at times to read the screen and it sure would help. Thanks.

Some brands of screen savers for iPhones, iPads, etc. will have an anti glare surface. From my experience, they help but do not eliminate all glare!

another thing to remember is if wearing polarized gasses of any sort it is going to make it even worse as in seeing the screen.

I have the same problem with mine, best time for me is when is getting darker outside, for a high priced machine the screen sucks, to say the least, my etrac is better than the CTX!!!

Chuckciao is right. I get the ipad screen protector and that illiminates almost all the glare but there are
certain angles that you can get that the sun is just too much. Like Amberjack stated, do not wear polarized
glasses.

You might try passive 3D sunglasses.

Kieth,
Thanks for that tip, and the links.

I've tried everything from the different screen protectors, to the hoods, to the complete Thesaurus covers, and although each help a tiny bit, it's still a pain.
Part of the problem probably stems from my Colorado skies being almost always clear...so the sun is seriously harsh.

I may give these a try. :)

thanks,
mike

two ways : turn into the sun so its in your face not in the screen and hunt at night like a pro. Assuming your a beach hunter. If your a park hunter then join a gang first. Only way to be safe.
