screen and buttons etc..

anyone know if the screen and buttons etc.. are scratch proof from dirt and pushing buttons with dirty fingers etc...

I agree with that 100%, I put that product on every one of my detectors from day 1 and never had a single problem. I buy the large pieces made for ipads etc and cut them down into several smaller pieces. Works great! Good luck and HH -Marc
 
so will other brands work as well ? or is that one the best?

My other brand detector I just put it over the screen but I bought and explorer that seemed to have it over the buttons too and it looked like it held up nicely.

Of course it was from someone that takes really good care of their machines.

So my question is will that stuff bridge over irregular surfaces like the touchpads and if so is there any special way you have to apply it.

That is going to be the first thing I do since I relic hunt
