Scratchy repeatable sound.

I know you guys have herd this on your AT. How many of you dig this sound and what were the finds.
Good or bad?

some cruddy pennies will appear or did for me..................mostly wire, small iron flakes.

That was my finding today also. Mostly corroded zinc Penny's in the water.

the 14k ring w/ice in the lower right of the pic came in with a scratchy, iffy medium tone. I think it might have been on edge, but the ATP sniffed it!!

Yes, round here in the high mineral and lately dry dirt anything like a nickle over 4" sounds scratchy.

It depends on the numbers on what it could be....foil, a zinc penny, a a bottle cap......but has always been trash if I get a scratchy sound.
