Scrap into CASH $$$$$$$

well today I took my 2 scrap buckets to the recycling center, and cashed em in! I had 2 buckets, one for copper, and one for brass....I can't understand why some people throw this stuff away???

90% of this stuff came from field hunting spring and fall. Got $95.46, not bad for junk metal. Also turned in my clad from the season and got $143.65. Took my wife out to breakfast buffet, and now I am gonna get some display cases for all my finds from this yr!

yep!!!! broken bells, harmonica reeds, door knobs, rifle shells, you name it....fields where houses were tore down are full of scrap, but if I am gonna take time to dig it, might as well cash it in!

Terry, my friend. That's the most expensive Breakfast Buffet receipt I've ever seen. You guys gotta cut back or you won't have any room for Christmas meal!!!!

Impressive haul.

Holy smokes that a lot of scrap money! I just throw it in the back of the truck or give it to pops. Need to cash it all in one of these days.

That is a lot of metal!!

I have a bucket full of copper and brass too. Copper comes up like a quarter, so I dig a lot of it. I will turn it in sometime soon when my bucket fills up. You have to have a permit in SC to turn in copper though because of all the AC coil thefts. I recycle the aluminum.

I cashed in my quarters this weekend for a little over $300, still have to turn in the dimes (over $100). Keeping the pennies since they are worth 3 cents each in copper. This was six or so years of change.

Going to buy gold coins with them since they will appreciate in value rather than depreciate!

where I go, you have to show divers license, then they take your picture as well...lol

I have 40lbs of the stuff. The best scrap are the larger brass pipe fittings. They are thick and heavy. Some of those things must weigh a pound, and only take up a couple of square inches.

I have four buckets of scrap out back from this season. Problem is when my daughter saw how much I got for a bucket of brass that she left me to sqiush her pop cans and started claiming the sorting of the copper and brass so she could collect the big cash. LOL I love her and dont want to diswade her money making spirt. In the mean time Ill try to get her more interested in the finding of the objects with a detector.
