Recently found out about a northern Idaho town founded in 1884, that was totally deserted by 1921. A pilot/friend who recently acquired his first metal detector is interested in hunting it with me. He invited me to accompany him this afternoon to see if we could locate it from the air. We didn't find the landmark we were looking for (though we should be able to find it by car) - but did spot a couple of long-abandoned buildings in a remote area that looked somewhat promising. These shots are of the general vicinity....
