Scorpion Gold Stinger

I'm brand new to the detecting biz, so, how many of you have the Scorpion Gold and is this MD good for prospecting along with jewelry, coins, etc?

It was designed to find gold in highly mineralized soil. Most people who purchase it have that in mind. Now having said that, it will also find coins and jewelry too. It has a variable discrimination knob and must be ground balanced too. It is not a turn on and go machine. It has a small learning curve to it. Is it good for jewelry? YES! If you use it in the city, you will also dig up a lot of pulltabs, which share the same conductivity as gold. The Scorpion uses 3 x 9 volt batteries.
